Cherryvale weddings are quintessentially PEC.
Cherryvale Weddings is a picturesque property situated in the heart of Prince Edward County and run by the sweetest family who also operate the property as a working farm. One of my favourite things about photographing weddings in Prince Edward County is all the amazing venues. The vibe is always relaxed with warm hospitality and set amongst beautiful countryside views.
Tess and Chad started their day off getting ready in the on-site suites, followed by an outdoor ceremony, photos around the beautiful grounds, and celebrated with an outdoor tented reception.
I first met Tess almost a year and a half before her wedding for lattes at a local restaurant, where we immediately connected over having both recently moved to Prince Edward County from neighboring areas of Toronto. But what I loved most was finding out that she and Chad were actually childhood sweethearts who reconnected again later in life. Chad is a County local and the two met as teenagers while Tess was on a family summer vacation at Sandbanks.
There are so many pretty spots to take photos at Cherryvale weddings, but my favorite was definitely the late-summer field where we snuck out to for golden hour photos! The day was mostly overcast and windy, but we were lucky to have the sun come out just before it set.
The vibe of their reception was relaxed and authentic with a delicious home cooked buffet, harvest tables with greenery, and an assortment of pies/cupcake for dessert. Tess and Chad enjoyed their first dance and kicked off the party portion of the night with live music from one of the many talented local bands.
