Two days after their destination wedding in Greece, Sharon and Achilleas changed back into their wedding clothes, salvaged what was left of the wedding flowers, and met up with me for this beautiful shoot. I’ve never really done day-after photoshoots before, but I think they’re my new favourite thing! Although we could see the ocean from their wedding venue, there just wasn’t time to go off-site on the wedding day, and you don’t go all the way to Greece without getting photos with the stunning landscape! Achilleas gave us a little off-road tour of the coastline that only locals know about. We climbed down the rocky cliffs (Sharon in her wedding dress) to this pristine, secluded beach with the turquoise blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the soft glow of the Mediterranean sunset. We finished the day chasing the sun as it set into a dark cloud, and had just enough time to pull over to the side of the road and catch some sunset shots before it got dark. I love how serene and dream-like these photos turned out, and i’m hoping more couples choose to do day after wedding sessions after seeing these!
