I'm so excited you're here planning your wedding! I'm Lushana, a wedding photographer based in beautiful Prince Edward County! I'm originally from Vancouver Island and moved to The County with my husband Dave in 2022 after several years in Toronto.

I started photographing weddings 12 years ago after graduating with my BFA in Visual Arts from Concordia in Montreal. I've had the honour of photographing hundreds of couples around the world, but right i'm thrilled to have put down roots in Prince Edward County. There's something so unique and special about The County, and I think it's the perfect place to get married! I focus mainly on local weddings, but am happy to travel for select weddings.

I know that starting to plan your wedding and finding the best photographer for you can be a bit daunting so I would love to help in any way that I can. WHY I PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS

Photos are so important in both shaping and preserving memories. One of my favourite activities growing up was looking through my parent’s stacks of photo albums. My favourite was always their tiny wedding with just family in attendance, shot on black and white film. Now that i’m married, my husband and I have a yearly tradition of looking through our wedding album on our anniversary. When my dad passed away a few years ago photos took on a whole new level of important. The only good recent photos I had with him were from our wedding.

I love wedding photography because I know how important these images will be to you in 20 years, or to your children and grandchildren one day. I want to help you re-live the feeling of your wedding day and remember experiencing it with your most important people. To me, your photos are family heirlooms that help shape the story of your lives and i’m honoured to create them for you.

Your Photography Experience

My goal is to create images that will stay with you for a lifetime and be passed down through generations. I specialize in authentic, timeless images that capture real emotions and tell your unique story. I offer both digital and film photography coverage, and have been capturing weddings on film since 2016. Nothing quite compares to real film for evoking a specific mood and sense of nostalgia.

The story of your day will be told through artfully composed images combining relaxed portraits, documentary style candids and editorial details. While I always make sure to give enough direction to help you feel confident and beautiful, I believe in keeping photos natural and effortless. Above all, I enjoy capturing real moments of laughter, tears and connection.

I especially love photographing outdoor weddings and take inspiration from nature and beautiful light. My overall approach is natural and organic, focusing on genuine moments and the beauty of intimate connections.

HIGH RESOLUTION FILES WITH PRINTING RIGHTS

You will receive all your edited images as high resolution files along with full printing rights so that you can print and display your photos whenever you want.

AN ASSISTANT PHOTGRAPHER

My husband Dave comes with me to every wedding to help out with all the behind the scenes stuff so that i'm free to just focus on capturing your important moments. He also takes additional candids throughout the day to ensure full coverage of your wedding.

INDIVIDUALLY HAND-EDITED IMAGES

No outsourcing, no presets. I go through every one of your images myself to create a cohesive aesthetic that matches your unique wedding. This ensures your finished images will evoke the right mood and emotion so that you can relive your wedding day every time you look at your photos.

ONLINE GALLERY

Your photos will be delivered in a beautifully displayed modern gallery with high-resolution and web-sized downloads so that you can easily share all your photos with family and friends.

TIMELINE GUIDANCE

I will work with you to create a relaxed, efficient timeline to ensure you get the best photos and make sure your wedding day will go smoothly.

SNEAK PEEKS WITHIN 72 HOURS

Shortly after your wedding day I deliver a small gallery of sneak peeks with some of my favourite images so that you can enjoy and share the photos immediately.
