about me
Hi, I'm lushana
A wedding photographer based in beautiful Prince Edward County! I'm originally from Vancouver Island and moved here with my husband Dave in 2022 after several years in Toronto.
I started photographing weddings in 2012 after graduating with my BFA in Visual Arts from Concordia and since then i've had the honour of photographing hundreds of couples around the world.
I'm grateful to each couple who connects with my photos and gives me the chance to capture their memories. Read on to learn a bit more about me and see if we're the perfect fit!

travel
I love discovering beautiful new places and go on a few trips each year. My favourite spots are The Amalfi Coast, Algarve Portugal, Southern France and the Canadian Rockies

hiking and landscapes
Outside of weddings, my next favourite thing to photograph is landscapes. I love spending time in nature and hiking to amazing spots with stunning scenery.

prince edward county
There are so many things I love about living here - the beauty of the parks and beaches, seasonal produce at local farm stands, amazing restaurants, coffee shops and wineries, plus everyone is so friendly!

movies
Cinema is a huge source of creative inspiration to me. My favourite films are 8 1/2, Breathless, Punch Drunk Love and Edward Scissorhands.
I'm a big believer in finding beauty in small moments - foggy mornings, summer aftenoons in the garden, sunsets at the beach, hot chocolate by the fire on a snowy day, Sundays spent browsing the local bookstore.

My husband Dave, who shares in all my adventures, comes with me to every wedding and is an amazing assistant photographer!

film photography
I 've been shooting film since I was a teenager. There's nothing quite like the way film captures light, the timeless colour tones, and its beautiful soft texture.
One of my favourite activities growing up was looking through my parents' stacks of photo albums. My favourite was always their small wedding with just family in attendance, shot on black and white film.
I love wedding photography because I know how important these images will be to you in 20 years. I want to help you relive the feeling of your wedding day and remember experiencing it with your most important people. Your photos are your legacy and i’m honoured to create them for you.
