This Bruce Peninsula engagement session is one of my favourites! The Bruce Peninsula National Park is probably my favourite place in Ontario and i’ve always wanted to do a shoot there. When Janice asked me to recommend a spot with amazing scenery for her engagement session this was the first thing that came to mind.
I always love working with brides who value beautiful images enough to travel to remote locations. The Bruce Peninsula is about a 4 hour drive just from Toronto, but Janice and Chris made the drive all the way out from Ottawa. Luckily it was a beautiful spring day and the photos were totally worth the extra effort! Nothing compares to the white cliffs and blue-green waters of this place – at least not in Ontario! It’s so different from the rest of Ontario that it kind of feels like another country. Honestly half the people who’ve seen these photos think they’re from my trip to Greece last year!
Janice and Chris were also one of my favourite couples from last year. They are both so easy going, down to earth and easy to get along with, plus Janice is one of the sweetest brides i’ve met. I felt like we were friends by the end of her wedding. She’s also super talented and despite being a busy doctor she created so many beautiful diy elements for her wedding, including the prettiest invitation set. Hopefully this post will inspire another couple to have a Bruce Peninsula engagement session taken here because I need an excuse to go back!
