Zoe and Mike’s wedding at The Eddie was everything a Prince Edward County wedding should be.
Their Thanksgiving weekend wedding was a relaxed, intimate celebration with close family and friends, surrounded by picturesque scenery. I was able to spend quite a bit of time with them and their family, photographing their engagement session, rehearsal dinner at the drake the night before (which featured a super fun family jam session) and then their wedding day.
From the Couple:
“We cannot say enough good things about Lushana! Our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding day were captured so beautifully by Lushana. Throughout the process Lushana was professional, timely, responsive, and receptive to our ideas. She made the entire process stress free and we could not have asked for a better experience. She also worked extremely well with our videographer, both executing their visions perfectly.
On the big day, Lushana was organized, calm and encouraging during the shoots, making us feel very comfortable. Her attention to detail and capturing our wedding in the exact vision we had imagined was remarkable – all the moments big and small were captured so beautifully, down to every last little detail. We are so thankful to have all our amazing photos to look back on for the rest of our lives! If you’re looking for an amazing photographer with an excellent eye for detail, we would highly recommend Lushana!”
-Zoe and Mike
Zoe and Mike started the day getting ready at the barn at the Eddie on a rainy fall morning. Zoe was a gorgeous boho bride in the most unique dress from Grace Loves Lace, while Mike opted for a classic black and white tux with velvet jacket.

What I loved most was how Zoe and Mike personalized their wedding day with little touches, like their emotional and romantic private vows after their first look. Private vow readings have become one of my favourite recent wedding traditions!

The Eddie has tons of beautiful spots for outdoor photos, and we were lucky to find the apple orchards at their peak. We were hoping for some fall colours, which ended up coming late this year, but the colourful fall florals by Prairie Roots Floral more than made up for it!

Despite the rainy start to the day, the weather cleared enough for a dreamy outdoor ceremony overlooking the fields lit with late afternoon sun.

They end the day with a cozy dinner catered by the acclaimed Bocado restaurant in Picton, followed by dancing to a live band. Their wedding planner Brittiny did an amazing job of bringing Zoe and Mike’s boho-glam vision to life in the Eddie’s beautiful rustic barn, decorated with harvest tables, warm jewel tones, and the coolest disco ball feature for the dance floor.
