The Waupoos Winery is one of my favourite Prince Edward County wedding venues.
This Waupoos Winery wedding features a unique waterfront vineyard setting which is the perfect place to spend a relaxed weekend enjoying the beauty of PEC with family and friends.
Emma and Cord came up from Toronto for their Waupoos Winery weddings on a hot July weekend last summer. I also shot their engagement session in PEC the previous fall so I already knew they were a sweet, kind easygoing couple who also have great taste and I was super excited to shoot their wedding!
Emma and Cord started the day getting ready with their closest friends and family at the on-site vacation rental next to the Waupoos Winery.
Emma and Cord opted for a first look and in the beautiful vineyard and then we took some time for just the two of them to spend together before their ceremony. The Waupoos Estates Winery has some gorgeous spots for photos and July is one of the most beautiful months with lush vines and blooming flowers.
One of my favourite things about the Waupoos Winery is the waterfront ceremony location. Anything featuring lakes, beaches or oceans is my happy place. Emma and Cord got married on the dock during golden hour in a intimate, romantic ceremony.
After there wedding ceremony, Emma and Cord enjoyed mingling with guests by the waterfront before moving in to their outdoor tented dinner reception. We also snuck off for a couple golden hour photos so they could enjoy a little alone time as newlyweds.
My favourite part of the evening was the hilarious speech by Emma’s dad where we discovered that both our father’s were born in Czechoslovakia, and in the exact same city. I love finding these kinds of random connections with my wedding couples! The other highlight of the night was Emma and Cord’s first dance which was one of the all time most fun i’ve photographed! How cool is Emma’s white jumpsuit?
The night finished with this beautiful full moon which was the perfect end to this summer Prince Edward County wedding. Looking forward to capturing more weddings at Waupoos Winery soon!
